Department of Cardiology Devision

• The cardiology department at the AL-Bashir Hospital is a modern regional facility that is located at the premises of the Department of Internal Medicine

• It is Staffed with seven consultants and handles around 10,000 outpatients and 4000 admissions a year.

• The department has its ward beds shared with other medical patients at medical ward which has about 90 beds. It has it own modern and up-to-date 10 bed coronary care unit. 

• The Cardiology department provides its services to entire population of Amman (about 1.5 million) and it is a tertiary referral center for patients referred from other rejoins in Jordan.
