was established in 1979 initially starting with 3 clinics :

- In 1994 another 2 clinics were added to
the Department :

- General Dental clinic

- Paediatric Dental clinic

- In 1999 the whole department was renewed
consisting of the following clinics:

- Oral medicine and diagnosis

- Pediatrics

- Prosthodontics

- Conservative dentistry

- Maxillofcial Prosthesis
Laboratory

- X-ray unit with a
periapical x-ray machine and a Panorama machine

- Lecture room for 30
persons

- A residency program was started in 2002 and now the department
has 14 residents

- The department treats approximately 200-0250 patients daily,
in addition to major maxillofacial Surgery under GA using the
ENT department theaters
|
- The number of Specialists in department are 10 , Residents 14,
General dental practitioners 4

- And we are looking to establishing a new department with an
inpatient word
